Our hats offer a versatile fit, suitable for various head sizes, and can be styled in several ways—fully down for maximum sun protection, front down and back up for a stylish flair, or fully upright for a sophisticated look. The pompoms featured on each hat are not just decorative elements; they carry deep cultural significance within the Wayuu community, with larger pompoms representing financial prosperity. This adds a meaningful layer to each uniquely crafted hat.
Each Wayuu hat has a head opening of approximately 21 inches, and we offer customization options for a perfect fit. To maintain the quality of your Wuitusu handmade crochet bags, gently hand wash in cold water with mild detergent. Avoid wringing or twisting, reshape while damp, and dry flat away from direct sunlight. For punch needle bags, spot clean with a damp cloth and air dry. Iraca palm hats should be gently wiped with a damp cloth and reshaped if needed. Avoid exposure to excessive moisture and store in a cool, dry place.
