Happy 2020 everyone!
One of my resolutions this year is to write more blog posts. Anything from Wayuu bags (history, meaning, outfits) to how to run a business when you have no background in running a business.
We have come a long way since the day I fell in love with a blue Wayuu bag, and a blue Wayuu hat: online store, Sunday markets, a kiosk at a mall, and now two brick-and-mortar stores in Los Angeles. In the process, we have met amazing people who have helped in every step of the process. And, of course, we have met amazing customers who already loved, or learned to love, the tangible expressions of the Wayuu culture: its handmade bags.
There is still a long, long, long way to go: much to learn and much to experience. I hope you will walk with me during this process.
