Gorgeous tote bags that can be taken to the beach, the pool, a picnic, the market, basically anywhere you go. These are the largest bags crocheted by the Wayuu people. It takes about 45 days to finish them. Each one is one-of-a-kind.
Thes bags measure approximately 15.5 in high, 11 in at the bottom, and 17 in wide. The straps measure around 11 in high. The totes can be machine washed in cold water if placed first in a mesh bag.
Each $50 purchase helps feed 5 Wayuu children through The Wayuu Taya Foundation.

Your Wuitusu Wayuu items should be kept safely in stitlrage when not in use to maintain their beauty and durability.
It is better to handwash your Wuitusu Wayuu items, however, they can be machine washed. Place them in a mesh bag to protect their tassels, pompoms, and drawstrings. Use the delicate cycle and cold or room- temperature water. Air dry them.
You should be able to use you Wuitusu Wayuu items for many years if you take good care of them.
